Farm Day Mini-Retreat: Watercolor & Wonder - 31 August 10 am - 2 pm
Experience your emotions and creativity through our Watercolor and Wonder Farm Day Retreat at Vinnocki Flower Farm, where creativity, nature and playfulness come together in harmony. Guests will begin with a guided tour of our flower fields, immersing themselves in the vibrant colors and delicate scents of the season. Following the tour, enjoy gentle movement exercises designed to relax and inspire, preparing you for a mindful artistic session. We will then break for a bring-your-own picnic lunch and watercolor demonstration led by the talented Jennifer Dorothy. You will learn (and experience) the color wheel, complementary colors, brush stoke techniques and as create three unique abstract watercolor postcards. This retreat offers a peaceful escape to nurture your artistic spirit amidst the beauty of the farm. We all need more art in our lives, you may frame your pictures and hang them in your home to remember your day or intentions.

Jennifer teach art, writing, and wilderness retreats that help women attune to their creativity, but more importantly, to themselves and one another. She’s passionate about partnering to teach at local farms—not only because they're stunningly beautiful, but because it invites the community to engage in farmland preservation with art-making that’s fun.
Her favorite color is robin’s egg blue and she live with my family in Kingston, WA, a short ferry ride from Seattle. You can find her writing at Tideland Magazine, Conscious Classroom, and ParentMap.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Fiber Arts background.
